Cat / Kitten Adoption
PAAC cats are feline friends that have been pulled from local animal control facilities. This includes Corpus Christi, Port Aransas, Rockport, and surrounding areas. These cats come in all shapes and sizes and have a broad span of histories. Some cats may have even been considered feral, had some sort of injury, or abandoned. Unfortunately, not every cats story is known but every cat has a chance for a new chapter. Kittens or sick cats can even be place in foster homes, if available. When adopting through this program a cat is spared from life in a shelter, leaving room for another cat to be saved by animal control.
PAAC does not take animals from the public, cats are only pulled from local animal control facilities.

How much is it to adopt? and What does that price include?
Feline friends have an adoption fee of $15 each. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, nail trims, flea/tick prevention, and a microchip.
When do Cats/Kittens go to PETCO?
Each pet is evaluated by PAAC vets. If in foster, cats will make their trip to Petco once their need is met (too young/underweight) by our wonderful volunteers. Once all services have been received and pets are at a clean bill of health, they will be taken to both Petco locations.
Social media is maintained by PAAC volunteers. Updates on adoption availability and locations are frequently updated.
