What is Pets for Life?

“Pets for Life is a program of The Humane Society of the United States to prevent shelter overpopulation, reduce animal suffering, and promote veterinary care. It improves the lives of not just animals, but the people who care for them in under-served communities”. -HSUS

How is PAAC involved? 

PAAC has been chosen as a new PFL mentorship group to receive financial support and guidance from the national PFL team. Our proactive door-to-door outreach efforts focus in areas of Corpus Christi where 40% of the residents live below the poverty line or under-served communities.

Our goal is to maintain a trusting ongoing relationship with people. We are building long term relationships based upon inclusivity, diversity, understanding, non-judgement and a focus on the human-animal bond.
