Mrs. Tracey Anderson became involved with Pets for Life on Saturday, September 28, 2024. A devoted cat lover, she currently cares for eight cats and is mourning the recent loss of her oldest cat, who was attacked by a stray dog. Recently, Mrs. Anderson took in five kittens that were left on her lawn. While there were originally six, one of the kittens was in poor health and didn’t survive. Having witnessed many kittens not making it, Mrs. Anderson decided it was time to have her pets spayed and neutered to prevent further struggles.

The cost of caring for her pets increased dramatically when she found the kittens, growing from three cats to eight.

Thanks to Pets for Life at PAAC, Mrs. Anderson is now able to afford the necessary surgeries, with the program covering the cost and even providing carriers she previously didn’t have. She has chosen to start with her oldest cats first, hoping to reduce their fighting and improve the household dynamics. Excited about the impact Pets for Life is having, Mrs. Anderson plans to make a donation to PAAC in the future.
